phylum Chordata The gray slender loris (Loris bydekkerianus) is a strepsirrhine primate in family Lorisidae. It is found in the tropical and subtropical forests of India and Sri Lanka. The limbs are gracile, and the eyes large. The muzzle is not as narrow and pointed as the red slender loris (L. tardigradus) which is also smaller. The index finger is reduced, allowing it to cling to small branches. Its diet is mainly insects and leaves.
