Founded in 1950 by Harry Sternberg, Ajax was a US toy soldier and Western figure maker. They produced animal and dinosaur lines. The company closed by 1971.


Dinosaurs

The dinosaur molds were later purchased by Joy Toy that produced them in a different lighter plastic. These are always solid plastic

Large Dinosaurs

The large series are hollow bodied plastic and average about 5 inches in length. They were produced by Joy Toy and later Tootsie Toy as the molds changed hands over the years.

Large Prehistoric Animals

The large series are hollow bodied plastic and average about 5 inches in length. They were produced by Joy Toy and later Tootsie Toy as the molds changed hands over the years. This series is highly sought after and tends to be expensive.


Dogs

The dogs were also later produced by Joy Toy. These are solid body plastic
