Danish Red cattle, also known as Red Danish or Red Dane, are a major dairy cattle breed in northern Europe. The breed was developed in Denmark based on local breeds.
In 1970 the breed was crossed with American and Canadian brown cattle, and in the 21st century there is only about 150 pure bred specimens left. For more about the breed see the Wikipedia page at Danish Red Cattle
